This is not a race to the top — it's a chance to slow down, connect with your senses, and take in the beauty around you with more presence. Along the way, I’ll guide you through grounding techniques, gentle pauses, and moments of quiet that help you tune into the landscape in a new way and deeply experience the mighty Northern Norwegian nature.

Whether you're already into mindfulness, or just curious about a slower, more meaningful way to experience the outdoors, this hike offers a refreshing alternative to fast-paced travel. And yes — we’ll leave our phones in our backpacks for part of the trip, so we can truly meet the mountain and ourselves without distraction.

If you're visiting Lofoten or Vesterålen and love hiking in Norway, this is a unique way to discover the land through stillness and intention.

Get in touch - let me know when you’re gonna be in the area and how many people are there in your group, and let’s plan a hike together!

What to Bring for Your Mindful Mountain Hike?

  • Comfortable hiking shoes or boots (with good grip – the trail can be uneven)

  • Clothing suited to the weather (layers are best – think windproof, waterproof, warm)

  • Hat and gloves (even in summer, it can be chilly at the top)

  • Small backpack

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Snack or small lunch (optional – we’ll take a break on the mountain)

  • Sitting pad or blanket (for nature meditation – I also bring a few extras)

  • Sunglasses and sunscreen (on clear days, the sun is strong)

I’d love to guide you up Storlitårnet and share this special way of being in nature.
